Kenneth Miller

The Advocate Spotlight for May 2023 is Kenneth Miller, who graduated and took the oath on October 27, 2011, as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. Since then, he has taken on twelve cases involving twelve boys. Presently, Ken is assigned to a thirteen-year-old boy who has gone through placement in Juvenile Hall. Despite the challenges, Ken has been a great mentor and advocate for his CASA child. Currently, the child is residing in a Group Home and still has regular visits with Ken.

Over time, Ken has managed to establish a positive relationship with his CASA child and has been able to represent him in Delinquency Court. Recently, he submitted a well-written CASA Court Report to the courts, which the Judge acknowledged and appreciated. This is a testament to Ken’s advocacy skills, dedication, and commitment to helping youth in need. His efforts have not only had a positive impact on the youth’s life but also on the community.

Ken’s remarkable work as a CASA is greatly appreciated and admired. We are fortunate to have advocates like Ken, who go above and beyond in their efforts to help vulnerable children. His dedication to his CASA child and the Delinquency Court system is a testament to his compassion, professionalism, and advocacy skills.

Ken’s unwavering commitment to his CASA child’s well-being is inspiring, and his efforts have had a profound impact on the child’s life. The Judge’s acknowledgment of Ken’s well-written CASA Court Report reflects his exceptional advocacy. On behalf of the community, we want to express our sincere appreciation to Ken for his invaluable work as a CASA. His efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we are grateful for his selfless service.
